MUMBAI: Post the success of Kaante, producer and director Sanjay Gupta is planning to repeat the team of Kaante comprising Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Mahesh Manjrekar, Kumar Gaurav and Lucky Ali in his next movie titled Saat.
The film will produced by Gupta under the White Feather Films banner and will go the floors next year.
“I am planning to make a film titled Saat. I want to repeat the star cast of Kaante in this film and things are still under finalisation. I have registered the title of the film,” says Gupta.
Kaante was a remake of Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs. The film was shot entirely in Los Angeles on a budget of Rs 400 million (Rs 40 crores) and was one of the most expensive Hindi films produced in 2002. The entire editing of the movie was done in LA and was released with record number of prints worldwide.
