[tps_footer]Every now and then, we keep hearing about celebrity feuds. Some feud due to work issues and some due to ego clashes. Few days ago, it was reported that all was not well between filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and actress Vidya Balan.
A leading daily reported that Sanjay Leela Bhansali got upset with Vidya Balan at a recent awards function. The ‘Kahaani’ actress was supposed to honour the filmmaker with an award for the music in ‘Bajirao Mastani’, but she left the venue without doing so. This made Sanjay upset. According to a source present at the venue, Vidya was supposed to honour Sanjay but his name wasn’t called until 10pm. As the awards got delayed, she left the venue. His name was called around at 1 am and then Suvreen Chawla gave him his award.
However, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has finally spoken about the issue and rubbished all the rumours of him being miffed with Vidya. He clarified on the issue saying that was a figment of someone’s imagination. No such thing had happened during the show. There wass absolutely no reason of him being upset with Vidya. He said his equation with Vidya is really good and he loves her. He considers her a dear friend and has the highest regards for her.
In the past, Sanjay and Vidya were supposed to work on a film together titled ‘Chenaab Gandhi’. Directed by Vibhu Puri, the film was supposed to go on floors soon until the director moved away from the project. Since then, no news of them working together has come into limelight.
