The movie will star Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan and Hurman Baweja and will be made on a budget of Rs 350 million (Rs 35 crores). It will be directed by debutant Vibhu Puri.

Incidentally, Bhansali’s directorial debut Khamoshi – The Musical starring Salman Khan and Manisha Koirala was also produced by Saregama.
Mantena was instrumental in clinching this co-production deal between Saregama and SLB Productions. He recently produced the Aamir Khan starrer Ghajini, which went to create history at the box office.
Saregama is also producing Abbas Tyrewala’s next film – 1-800-LOVE, which is being made on a budget of $10 million and stars John Abraham and Pakhi Tyrewala in the lead. The movie is slated to go on floors in May with an outdoor schedule in Boston.
Bhansali, on the other hand, has also begun work on his next directorial film after Saawariya, which is titled Heera Mandi. As was first reported by Businessofcinema.com, Bhansali is grooming two male actors and one female actress from Pakistan for the movie.
