MUMBAI: The satellite rights of Harry Baweja’s under-production film, Speed, have been acquired by Mumbai based company G G Photo Ltd, it is reliably learnt.
A G G Photo official, on condition of anonymity, confirmed that the company, which is in the business of acquiring satellite, VOD and related rights of films for a select clientele, has almost finalised a couple of Harry Baweja films for their world satellite rights.
While Baweja was unavailable for comment, a reliable source from his production unit confirmed the dealing, saying, “We have struck a deal with G G for two films. One is Teesri Aankh directed by Baweja himself, which stars Sunny Deol, Neha Dhupia and Ameesha Patel. The other is Speed, which is almost complete. Speed is directed by Vikram Bhatt and stars Zayed Khan, Urmila Matondkar, Tanushree Dutta and Sanjay Suri. We will be selling the world satellite television and exclusive broadcasting rights, including Doordarshan rights of these films.”
