MUMBAI: Controversy seems to follow Shah Rukh Khan, everywhere he goes. Last night after the win of his franchise – Kolkata Knight Riders, the superstar allegedly got drunk and involved in an ugly spat with MCA officials.

Vice-President, MCA, Ravi Sawant told a leading newspaper, "Khan misbehaved and abused the MCA security personnel as well as MCA officials, including our president Vilasrao Deshmukh, after the IPL match. We have decided to ban him for life from entering the stadium in future. He seemed drunk when he came to the ground at the end of game with about 40 people. When the ground’s watchman tried to stop him, he started abusing him."

Apparently, after Knight Rider’s thrashing Mumbai Indians by 32 runs, an excited Shah Rukh and his army of bodyguards went to the teams’ dressing room and then started to go on to the field.

"The MCA security personnel told them they cannot do so as the match was over which led to Shahrukh abusing them as well as the MCA officials. There was manhandling too by his people. We have decided to ban him from all future matches at the stadium. We are also going to lodge a police complaint against him," added Sawant.

The incident had taken place in the presence of IPL CEO Sundar Raman and BCCI’s media manager Devendra Prabhudesai. Reportedly, even the intervention of the MCA managing committee member Vinod Deshpande didn’t help either as Shah Rukh insulted him as well.

The ruckus continued much after the game got over. Cricketer Yusuf Khan, also came out of the dressing room, to pacify the agitated star.
