MUMBAI: Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan will be the sixteenth actor to make a special appearance in a song for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Heyy Babyy.
The other actors who are slated to make an appearance in the film’s songs are Amisha Patel, Koena Mitra, Dia Mirza, Shamita Shetty, Neha Dhupia, Amrita Arora, Amrita Rao, Tara Sharma, Minissha Lamba, Riya Sen, Sophie Chaudhary, Masumi Makhija, Aarti Chhabria and Hrishita Bhatt.
The film, described as a light hearted romantic drama, is being directed by Sajid Khan.
Says Nadiadwala, “We have shot the major portion of the film in Australia and parts of the song in South Africa and New Zealand. Meanwhile, we are through with the dubbing of the film. Shah Rukh Khan’s portion of the song will be added later, when he shoots for the film. It will be choreographed by Farah Khan. This is not the first time he is doing it for me and has featured in a song for my earlier film Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega with Salman Khan.”
Nadiadwala says special and other visual effects, including a new technology called ‘Motion Capture’ is being used for the first time. “With this technology, if a baby is crying, we can morph it with a smiling face,” says the producer.
Budgeted at around Rs 400 million (Rs 40 crore), the film stars Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Vidya Balan and Boman Irani in its cast.
