MUMBAI: Bollywood’s chocolate boy Shahid Kapoor who turned a year older today began his day by watching the live feed of the Oscars.
The complete movie buff thanked everyone who wished him for his birthday and later tweeted, “And Argo wins best film at the oscars 🙂 :).”
Shahid Kapoor who has been very busy shooting for Rajukumar Santoshi’s ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’, had targeted his birthday as a deadline to finish his work.
The 32 year old star has been busy working for upto fourteen to fifteen hours in a day for the film, which needed tedious shots of various real locations.
And ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’s director Rajkumar Santoshi said, “I always knew Shahid was extremely talented. Now when I’ve worked with him, I am amazed at how versatile he really is. In my film, he has to portray both dark and light shades. He handles both the comic and dramatic scenes with equal ease. And he is so hands-on on the sets it’s a delight to work with an actor so focused on his work. I am definitely working with Shahid again.”
Shahid who is looking forward to three films this year, will begin shooting for Prabhudheva’s ‘Rambo Rajkumar’ on March 1.
