MUMBAI: After Bal Ganesh, Shemaroo Entertainment is busy gearing up for its next animation release Ghatothkach – Master of Magic.
Ghatothkach film is slated to release on 2 May and Shemaroo will release it in seven languages — the biggest ever for any animation film in India.
Ghatothkach is a feature-length Bollywood style musical animated film for the entire family. The story of Ghatothkach, lovingly called Ghattu, explores his magical escapades, with an interesting mix of magic, action, romance, comedy, fantasy and is complete with foot-tapping songs.
To ensure animation quality as per world standards, the best talent from India, USA, Philippines and Canada have been utilized to make this movie.
The movie is a co-production between Shemaroo Entertainment and Sun Animatics. It is directed by world renowned Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, who has earlier directed internationally acclaimed films like Pushpak, Appu Raja and Son of Alladin, amongst many.
