Mumbai: Shilpa Shetty’s Shut Up and Bounce song of Tarun Mansukhani’s Dostana is going to be the opening song which will introduce Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham’s characters.
Karan Johar said that, Mansukhani, his entire team and himself brainstormed and tossed names of actresses who would be apt for the item song. "We finally zeroed in on Shetty because she has the best body in town," Johar said.
Johar added, "Shetty has done a fantastic job, but credit also goes to choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant and music director Vishal Shekhar. Shetty’s number will be the introductory song along with John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan."
Mansukhani said, "Shetty was comfortable wearing anything for the song. We were to shoot the song in seven days but completed in four days flat."
Shetty agreed to be a part of Dostana immediately because not only was it a Karan Johar production but it also had some favorite team of coworkers like designer Manish Malhotra, Mickey Contractor for the make up and Latika for her hair.
