Shocking! Salman Khan’s Effigy Burnt In Uttar Pradesh

Salman Khan has always been in the news for his controversial statements and faced a flak from the public. This year, he was mired in controversy for his ‘raped woman’ statement during the promotions of Sultan. And this time again, he has landed in other trouble when he supported the Pakistani actors.

Well, due to the tensions at the India and Pakistan borders and loss of several Indian soldiers’ life, people demanded a ban on Pakistani actors in India. When Salman was asked what he thinks about the ban, the actor said that they are artists and not terrorists. This did not go well with many people and many political parties. And now, looks like the harsh effects of his statement has begun. According to reports, Salman’s effigy was burnt at Khatoli town in Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh). This action against the actor was taken by the supporters of BJP MLA Sangeet Som.

Not only that, the angry workers have even threatened to boycott Salman’s film.

Well, Salman is currently shooting in Manali for his upcoming film Tubelight. We have to wait to see his reaction to the same. A few days ago, Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut also requested Salim Khan to put Salman under house-arrest.

Not only Salman, Karan Johar who favoured the Pakistani actors is also facing backlash for his statements.
