Tollywood actor and comedian Vijay Sai commits suicide.

A shocking incident has come to light. Tollywood actor and comedian Vijay Sai, 38, committed suicide in the wee hours of Monday morning in Hyderabad. The actor was found hanging from the ceiling of his bedroom.

At around 9.30 a.m, Vijay left a message— ‘Vijay no more’ on a Whatsapp group. When his friends on the group enquired what had happened, they received no reply from the actor. At around 10 a.m Vijay bolted his bedroom door and then hung himself from the ceiling of his bedroom. Reportedly his parents were present in the house when the incident happened.

Vijay was found by his mother and a friend. His bedroom door was forcefully opened when the actor did not respond to any phone calls and messages.

Reportedly, Vijay Sai was under extreme stress and was going through financial problems. Vijay was also going through depression. A case is also pending against Vijay in a local police station.

Vijay’s wife Vanitha, a serial artiste was staying away from him since the last year.

The actor’s mother holds his wife, Vanitha responsible for her son’s untimely death. Apparently, Vanitha harassed Vijay by slandering him. Reportedly, she even took away all the valuables that the couple owned. The exact cause of death still has not been determined yet.

Vijay Sai acted in many Telugu films, but is remembered for his performances in ‘Bommarillu’ and ‘Ammayilu Abbayilu’.

Though for a very long time, Vijay was not getting any projects to work on. Apparently, this too put him in an unsound state of mind.

This incident has left Tollywood in shock. Condolences are pouring in for the family. Tollywood PRO Vamsi Kaka expressed his shock over the incident. He further added that this is not the first time that an actor has taken his own life due to an ongoing battle with depression.
