Now it is Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit Nene who had allegedly received extortion threats from a 23-year-old man. Can’t believe it, what’s happening to the youth these days.
The man by the name Praveen Kumar Pradhan threatened to kill the actress and her children. He was arrested by police and during interrogation; he admitted that he has sent death threats to the actress to extort money.
According to the police, the accused had sent four text messages to Madhuri Dixit threatening to kill her child if she did not pay a certain amount. In one of the text messages, the accused also mentioned that he worked for gangster Chota Rajan. Reports also suggest that the accused used to work in a restaurant in Mumbai as a waiter.
Police also recovered the mobile phone via which he has sent all the messages. Investigation is on and the police are verifying the fact if he actually belongs to Chhota Rahjan gang or then he is just claiming so.
According to the Police sources the man has threatened many Film Industry personalities using the same method. The police are also trying to find out the purpose of this act.
