MUMBAI: Kunal Khemu seems to have come into his own as an actor, with ‘Go Goa Gone’, even managing to arrange a special screening of his latest film for his close friends recently.
At Ketnav, Kunal played host with girlfriend Soha Ali Khan (dressed in a sexy black lace top and leggings, with an orange hobo bag), to friends Jackky Bhagnani, Kunal Kapoor, Konkana Sen Sharma and Cyrus Sahukar at the specially arranged screening.
Talking about his relationship, which has further bloomed with Soha moving in with him, Kunal revealed: “We both fight a lot… We both are culprits! Both of us like to talk, debate a lot. All I can say is that we are in a very good place today!”
When asked about why it took him so long to do a film with his girlfriend Soha’s brother Saif Ali Khan, Kunal chuckled, “It is a professional thing. It does not mean that If I am in a relationship with Soha, it automatically makes it mandatory for me to do a film with them. Even Soha has not done a film with Saif’s production house. It is not planned, it just happened.”
Speaking about the worldwide craze of zombies coming to India with this film, Kunal surmised: “World over, zombies are really big. But not everyone here would have seen zombie films. So keeping that in mind, we’ve kept the story of the film very simple. It is not necessary for one to know what zombies are, as the characters in the film are also clueless about them.”
