Sonam Kapoor is making news with her love affair Anand Ahuja.
Sonam Kapoor attended the National Award event in Delhiwith her family and rumoured boyfriend Anand Ahuja. The couple is yet to make their relationship official but when the actress had to introduce Anand to the National Film Award winning actress Surabhi Lakshmi.
Sonam Kapoor does not publicly refer to Anand Ahuja as her boyfriend, but when the actress personally introduces him to her acquaintances, she introduces him as her boyfriend.At the National Awards Event, Malayam actress Surabhi Lakshi was sitting next to Sonam Kapoor and introduced Anand as her boyfriend to her.
In an interview with Times Of India, Surabhi revealed it all –
” She (Sonam) is a sweetheart! Sonam told me that her best friend is from Kerala and so, she has a special affection for the State. Her boyfriend had also come for the event and she introduced me to him. She also gave me some sweets. I was happy when she told me, ‘Aren’t you wearing the traditional Kerala attire? It’s really beautiful !’ stated the actress.

The rumours of Sonam dating a Delhi based guy parked when the Neerja actress was accompanied by Anand Ahujaat the Rustom success bash.
A few pictures shared by Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor on Instagram proved that Anand Ahuja is very much part of the Kapoor family now. The picture shows Sonam sitting with others while Anand at the back holding Sonam Kapoor. The picture is doing circles on the net.
The couple has been in a steady relationship for about two years now and Sonam seems quite serious about him. According to sources close to the alleged couple, a formal engagement is going to be announced pretty soon.
Anand Ahuja is into lifestyle business and owns a reputed apparel brand BHANE in Delhi. He attended the American School before graduating from Wharton Business School. Now we know why Fashionista Sonam Kapoor had once stated in an interview to a fashion site how BHANE is one of her favourite labels. She is also often seen sporting their denims at various events.
Sonam opens up about a lot of aspects of her life but believes in keeping her love life private. In an interview to a leading agency some time ago, the actress had said,
“There are a lot of other things which make you a whole person besides who you’re dating. My personal life is out there because I’ve always been myself but if you’re talking about personal life as in (context of) boyfriend, then I’ll never talk about it.”
On the contrary, looks like Surabhi Lakshmi just revealed Sonam’s current relationship status unknowingly which Sonam didn’t want to reveal so soon. Oops.
