MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Releasing India will release thriller film Primeval on 6 April 2007.
The film is the story of a bloodthirsty killer who has claimed over 300 victims and is still at large. Inspired by the true story of the world’s most prolific killer, Crocodile Gustave, the movie follows a news crew’s determination to capture the murderer alive.
The crew is sent to Burundi, Africa, by its network chief to hunt and capture Gustave, who stalks a local river in search of human prey.
The danger begins as producer Tim Freeman (Dominic Purcell) and cameraman Steven Johnson (Orlando Jones) are joined by two animal experts: one a Steve Irwin-style croc hunter, the other a local named JoJo who set out on a journey up-river in search of their subject. But the deeper they probe into the mystery of this elusive assassin, the deadlier their trip becomes.
The movie is directed by Michael Katleman and produced by Gavin Polone.
