After a two-year-long hiatus, Sooraj Pancholi will be back with his second film directed by Prabhu Deva
Young actor Sooraj Pancholi debuted in Bollywood with the movie ‘Hero’ under Salman Khan’s production house Salman Khan Films, two years back. The movie bombed at the box-office and failed to impress the audiences. It marked the debut of two star kids Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. The actress has bagged a role and is currently shooting for ‘Mubarakan’ alongside Arjun Kapoor and Illeana D’Cruz while Sooraj Pancholi was being too choosy and did not sign any movie.

Though after being selective for a long time, it seems Sooraj Pancholi has bagged a role in Prabhu Deva’s next directorial venture. Sooraj Pancholi had shared a photograph of himself with Prabhu Deva, producers Bhushan Kumar and Prashant Ganjalkar. He captioned the image: Yes it is official! According to reports, Sooraj Pancholi has one more movie lined for him this year named ‘Haifz’. Although there are no confirmations regarding ‘Haifz’, the Prabhu Deva directorial’s venture will go on the floors this September. The young actor signed the film after a couple of earlier films didn’t take off, which included a film with Remo D’Souza starring Ajay Devgn. In a recent interview with Bombay Times, the actor spoke about the two-year long gap in his career. He said, ”I agree that two years is a long gap, but I am using the time to travel, read and prepare myself to be noticed as an artist. The slow pace of my career doesn’t bother me.” The 27-year-old actor will be trying his talent at comedy in the T-Series produced movie whereas he had shown his action moves in his debut movie ‘Hero’
