Sooraj Pancholi along with Athiya Shetty have started shooting for their debut film Hero in the picturesque locations of Manali. In Hero Sooraj is expected to go bare for an action scene.
According to reports, Sooraj is expected to go bare for an action sequence that is to be shot at a very high altitude. Now Sooraj’s forte is drama and emotions. Stunts don’t come as naturally to him and that’s the reason he has been practicing hard to master the stunts.
The Hero team has devised some intricate shirtless action for Sooraj in the rugged rocky Himalayan terrain.
Apart for the action sequence, Sooraj will shoot a few romantic songs as well. The romantic songs that are to be filmed on Sooraj and Athiya have been composed by Sachin-Jigar. Hero is being directed by Nikhil Advani whose last film D-Day did impress both the audiences as well as the critics and did decent business at the Box Office.
Initially, Nikhil had planned to use a re-mixed version of the original romantic duet from Subhash Ghai‘s Hero, Tu Mera Jaanu Hai Tu Mera Dilbar Hai, but with music company Saregama asked for too much money and the deal fell through. However Nikhil has now got a fresh song recorded.
“Nikhil Advani’s films have always boasted of outstanding songs and music. He asked Sachin-Jigar to compose a romantic duet to rival Laxmikant-Pyarelal’s Tu Mera Jaanu Hai and Pyaar Karne Wale from the original Hero.” stated a source close to the director.
Son of Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, Sooraj Pancholi has been constantly under the scanner because of his ex-girlfriend Jiah Khan, but it seems like the dark night is over as Sooraj has been given a clean chit by our judiciary.
