SRS Cinemas launches two multiplexes with 7 screens in NCR

MUMBAI: SRS Group has launched of two multiplexes in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, and the suburb in NCR. These are the 7th and 8th multiplexes of the company in North India.

SRS plans to invest approximately Rs 500 million (Rs 50 crore) to add 24 more screens to its current portfolio of 21 screens and take the total number to 45 by the end of this year.

While the SRS Cinemas at Aditya City Centre is spread across approx. 40,000 sq. ft. area and has 4 screens with a capacity of 918 seats, the SRS Cinemas at Jaipuria Mall is spread across approx. 38,000 sq. ft. area and has 3 screens with a capacity of 974 seats. The first movie to be screened at SRS Cinemas at Aditya Mall will be Shah Rukh Khan’s My Name Is Khan and SRS Cinemas at Jaipuria Mall will start screening the latest movies from 19 February, 2010.

The SRS Group already has 5 other multiplexes in the Delhi-NCR with 11 screens with a capacity of 4604 seats and one multiplex in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, with 3 screens and capacity of 742 seats.
