MUMBAI: Star has launched its nine channels on Indovision’s DTH platform. Among the channels are five Hindi language services – Star Plus, Star One, Star Gold, Star News and Channel [V] India; two Mandarin language services – Star Chinese Movies 2 and Channel [V] Taiwan as well as two international news channels distributed by Star – Fox News and Sky News.
The nine new channels compliment Star World, Star Movies and Channel [V] International, which are already available on the platform. The launch makes Star one of Indovision’s largest television channel suppliers.
MNC Sky Vision vice president director Handhi S. Kentjono said, "We are very happy to have more Star channels in our line up. The channels will increase the entertainment aspects of Indovision to a higher level. The best selection of Star channels will cater to the entertainment needs of large Indonesian demographic segments and ages."
