MUMBAI: Former Star Network executive vice president Yash Khanna has joined public relations company CMCG India as president.
Khanna was with Star for the last 17 years. Over the years, he worked across corporate communications, corporate affairs, marketing, ad sales and business development functions at Star India and at Ananda Bazaar Patriika.
Khanna said, "CMCG India is well-known for the quality of work it has delivered for clients across industry segments. Our plan is to quickly extend our thought leadership across industry segments, while offering innovative communication solutions to clients."
CMCG India managing director Samir Kale added, "I am delighted that Yash has joined the leadership of CMCG India team. He brings invaluable experience and business understanding to the agency. I’m sure that under his guidance, CMCG India will be able to grow into a large communications agency offering a variety of services to clients across geographies in India."
