Kapil Sharma who is riding high on the success of his Comedy Nights With Kapil, said if actor Sunil Grover decides to return, he will be more than happy to have him back.
As reports say, Sunil Grover aka Gutthi aka Chutki, has expressed interest to return to Comedy Nights With Kapil. Kapil and Sunil’s partnership in the show was most talked about. But due to some reasons, the friends turned out to be competitors.
Sunil Grover decided to walk out of Comedy Nights With Kapil , and start his own stand-up show, Mad In India with Manish Paul. Sunil’s Mad In India went on air in January, 2014 on Star Plus, while Kapil’s show started in June, 2013 on Colors. However Mad In India did not generate enough TRP.
Coming back to Sunil Grover‘s return to the show, Kapil said,”I had gone to a suburban hotel with a friend who had come visiting from London when I bumped into Sunil. We got around to chatting and Sunil happened to mention that he would like to come back to the show. I’ve forwarded Sunil’s request to the channel. Now it’s between him and the channel. Speaking for myself, I’d be happy to have Sunil back. He was one of the show’s important factors”.
Kapil also feels that Sunil and his partnership is a sure shot hit. He said, “Sunil had a better platform with me. There was something special when we worked together. I even had a chat with him on this before he left.”
