Sushant Singh Rajput Truly Defines Himself As An Unpredictable Actor

Yes you heard it right, Sushant Singh Rajput will be doing theater early next year with a two character play.

Sushant was last seen doing theater with a play called Mrityunjay which was interpretation of Mahabarat from Karn’s perspective, which was way back in 2007-2008.

The actor who is still basking in the success and the kind of positive reviews he has garnered for his performance as portrayal of Dhoni will now prep for the forthcoming play that he is set to perform at Prithvi!

It has so happened that due to the push of his forthcoming film titled Takadum for 3 months, Sushnat‘s dates had opened up suddenly. In fact Sushant has also been reading several scripts in the meanwhile but none of it has captivated him. However the actor thought of doing a play instead and is loving every bit of going back on the stage in front of a live audience!

Sushant also reminisces his days from theater and now is also set to return to theatre with another play sometime around the end of January or early February.

While chatting with Naved Aslam a friend of Sushant, with whom he discusses art, acting and philosophy, they both came up with the idea of two character play.

An excited Sushant shared, “We have been reading a lot of wonderful books and have narrowed our choices down to three and are trying to script them as a 60-90 minute play. I plan to do a couple of weekend shows before I kick off Homi’s film and then will continue to dabble in theatre between schedules“.

Sushant Singh Rajput has an affinity to theater because there is no distraction of any kind in theater and the stage offers more immersive experience for an actor. At the same time the actor has to ensure that the he has to reach the man sitting on the last row too without forgetting his lines.

Sushant Singh Rajput will next be seen in Raabta alongside Kriti Sanon.
