At the star-studded premiere of Sachin: A Billion Dreams, the lead couple of Raabta was asked as to what they feel about the accusations.

Sushant seemed very agitated at the question and replied by saying, “If you read up any book on screenplay, the most basic book, the first chapter of that book tells you that there are only eight different stories that you can tell, so every story is from those stories. It’s as simple as that.”

On the other hand, Kriti was very cool and calm and she tried to handle the situation. She said, “I want to say that I have seen the film that you are talking about (Maghadheera) and I have read the Raabta script. I know the film inside out and it is in no way similar. The characters, the narrative… everything from scratch is different.”

Before leaving Sushant again said, “And whoever you are talking about, whoever has a problem or sees a similarity can watch our film and they will get to know!”

On the legal side, the court has decided to listen to both the fronts on June 1 and then decide if the film can release on its scheduled date! Raabta is slated to release on June 9, this year.
