Tabu Discharged, Gets Back To Work On Haider

tabu Main coverTabu, who was admitted to Srinagar’s Sher-E-Kashmir Institute Of Medical Sciences Hospital on February 21, 2104 following breathing problems, got discharged after remaining under observation for about a couple of hours.

Tabu was shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj‘s Haider in Srinagar’s Nishad area. The actress couldn’t bear the severe cold and decided to warm herself near a bonfire outside the heritage bungalow where they were shooting.

The smoke made her breathless and the local unit coordinator rushed her to the hospital thirteen kilometers away.

“Tabu was hospitalised here on Friday, February 21, 2104 and kept under observation for three hours. She was discharged in the evening,” an official of the Sher-E-Kashmir Institute Of Medical Sciences Hospital here said.

He stated that the Tabu was complaining of some breathing problems due to inhalation of smoke on the sets of Haider. However post her discharge this talent actor reported to work and completed the shoot.

Tabu was last seen essaying the character of Geeta Agnihotri, Salman Khan’s sister in Jai Ho. Off late Tabu has been very selective about her roles and off late one has seen very little of her.

The film, which is based on Shakespeare‘s tragedy Hamlet, is being written and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and also stars Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Kay Kay Menon and Irrfan Khan.

Shahid Kapoor is still in Kashmir for another week to complete the film’s shooting. Shahid had tweeted, “Morning All Haider and his complexities have kept me occupied the last month or so. Last week of shoot in this heavenly valley.”

Meanwhile, actress Shraddha Kapoor has completed her Kashmir shooting schedule from the film is back in Mumbai and is shooting for the poster of her other film The Villian with actors Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh.
