MUMBAI: Superstar Amitabh Bachchan was recently sighted at the launch of Society Magazine’s April issue, for which the megastar himself is featured on the cover.
Spotted at the launch event at Magna Publication, along with Magna Group head Nari Hira, Suchitra Iyer and Television’s Rohit Roy, the suave Mr. Bachchan was ever his sophisticated and elegant self. Unveiling the cover, on which Amitabh Bachchan features in a very serious avatar: his trademark salt-coloured french beard, a pair of reading glasses and a neatly combed coiff, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan was ecstatic to be anointed as a Game Changer by the mag.
“Society magazine invites me unveil their annual issue .. the Game Changers .. and put me on the cover!” posted Amitabh Bachchan on his twitter feed.
Amitabh also revealed that he much prefers a physical book or a magazine to it’s online format.
“Ever since the internet has come, it has become faster and more communicative. People get to know news even before perhaps journalists. But I still feel that there is room, and there is great value at holding up a magazine or a book and going through it, rather than something that comes to you on your laptop or your computer,” the superstar said.
Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen in Prakash Jha’s ‘Satyagraha’, along with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ajay Devgn.
