MUMBAI: After the 2006 release Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, T-Series’ films division now plans to increase the frequency of its releases.
The company has lined up three film releases for 2007, all of which belong to different genres.
T-Series’ releases this year will start with the Ram Gopal Varma directed Darling, starring Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol and Isha Koppikar that releases on 20 July 2007. “We are yet to shoot two songs of the film,” informs T-Series chairman and managing director Bhushan Kumar.
This will be followed by Priyadarshan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Shiney Ahuja, Ameesha Patel and Paresh Rawal. The film is being shot in Jaipur and Mumbai, is almost complete with only one song pending. “It will release on 24 August 2007,” says Kumar.
E Niwas will release his venture My Name is Anthony Gonsalves through T-Series on 6 September 2007. “Nikhil Dwivedi plays the central character of Anthony Gonsalves and is paired opposite Amrita Arora. The second schedule of the film will commence on 15 April for 20 days,” says Kumar.
Commenting on T-Series’ forthcoming film to be directed Bela Sehgal, Kumar mentions, “The film is still in the scripting stages and it is too early to talk about it. We have still not signed anybody for the film.”
