MUMBAI: UTV Motion Pictures has acquired all India theatrical rights of the Tamil film – Deiva Thirumagal.
The movie is directed by Vijay and stars Vikram. This will be the first time that the two are working together.
Written and directed by A L Vijay, Deiva Thirumagal is a musical – family entertainer, co-produced by Sree Rajakaliamman Medias and UTV Motion Pictures starring Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role along with Anushka, Amala Paul, Santhanam and Nasser.
The music is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar (nephew of A.R Rahman). The film is edited by Anthony with Nirav Shah as the cameraman.
Deiva Thirumagal is scheduled to hit theatres on 15 July, 2011 and will be released across 350 screens in India.
