Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film Diwale is in a lot of talks for all the good reasons. After all, the film happens to be one of the most anticipated upcoming films of the year. Lately we have been hearing a lot of reports related to Dilwale and here’s another. If reports are anywhere to be true, Varun Dhawan’s character in the film is a football player. Yes, recent reports suggest that there are going to be few scenes in the film that will circle around football matches. Matter of fact, screenplay writers are already working on the scenes that will show Varun in action.
Reports further suggest that the team of Dilwale is yet to decide on Varun Dhawan’s character’s jersey in the film. A lot of meeting has been taking place with the designer to get the jersey designed for the actor just right. Varun, who happens to be a self-confessed sports enthusiast, has requested the team of Dilwale to design his jersey similar to that of Manchester United’s.
A source revealed, “Varun takes an active interest in the detailing of the character he is playing. And this particular look in Dilwale is integral to the story.” Dilwale’s team refused to reveal any further details about Varun’s character in the film. The film is all the more special because after a very long time we’ll get to see DDLJ couple Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan sharing screen space on the big screen once again! The rom-com drama Dilwale also stars Kriti Sanon.
