Vatsal Sheth upbeat on Hostel

MUMBAI: Vatsal Sheth, who made his debut in Bollywood with Gordhan Tanwani’s Tarzan – The Wonder Car, is upbeat on his upcoming film – Hostel.

The actor has started living in a hostel and is meeting boys who live there to get into his character for the film.

“I am very excited about my new film Hostel, which is written by the writer of Ram Gopal Verma’s Sarkar and James. The film will be directed by Manish Gupta. For the first time, this is a film that touches the intricacies of the hostel life. Actual hostel living boys have been picked up for the film, to give it a realistic touch and an innovative way to bring freshness to the film,” says Sheth.

“The film also deals with the issue of ragging that is very pertinent in today’s scenario. It’s not just about one incident but a string of incidents put in one film. It also shows how students are tortured and harassed in the name of ragging,” adds Gupta.
