Mumbai: Venus Films’ next movie to go on floors in November will be Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer De Dana Dan.
The film is a romantic comedy and is being directed by Priyadarshan.
De Dana Dan will be shot in Singapore and Mumbai. The film is being made on a budget of Rs 600 million (Rs 60 crores).
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, Venus’ Ratan Jain said, "The film will go on floors in November, contrary to some other reports. We are looking at completing the shooting of De Dana Dan in February next year and release it in July-August."
Recently it was reported that the shooting of De Dana Dan has been postponed because Priyadarshan is shooting Bhum Bhum Bole starring Darsheel Safary. However, the film will go on floors in November as scheduled earlier.
De Dana Dan also stars Neha Dhupia, Suniel Shetty, Sameera Reddy and Paresh Rawal.
