MUMBAI: Bollywood’s newest “it-thing” Ayushmann Khurrana is going out of his way to prove he’s the title Nautanki in his upcoming romantic comedy film ‘Nautanki Saala’.
The Delhi-lad Ayushmann was seen indulging in some dramatic antics, including singing melodiously at the ‘Nautanki Saala’ music launch. He was joined in his revelry and mischievousness by ‘Delhi Belly’ phenomenon Kunaal Roy Kapur.
The duo proved just how ‘Nautanki’ they could get by playing silly pranks and generally having a good time at the music launch. Ayushmann, seen in a basic tee-shirt-jeans combo, was seen grappling with and faux-wrestling Kunaal down to the ground. Soon he was seen piggybacking across the stage with Kunaal, and then in a classic Bond pose, where Ayushmann was seen pointing an imaginary gun at Kunaal’s forehead.
The leading ladies of ‘Nautanki Saala’, Pooja Salvi, Evelyn Sharma, MTV VJ Gaelyn Mendonca and singer Neeti Mohan looked on in amusement, seated in the audience, as the boys had a gala time entertaining everyone.
With the music launch being such an entertainer, we are sure the film, directed by Rohan Sippy will be equally entertaining. The story, which is a comedy of errors, releases on 12th April 2013.
