Siddhivinayak Cinevision along with Director Ananth Mahadevan and star cast Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey and Konkana unleashed the first trailer of their movie Gour Hari Dastaan on 7th July 2015 at Cinemax.
Determined and undaunted Gour Hari Das ( essayed by Vinay Pathak ) is seen journeying through varied situation and fought for 23 years to get the recognition he needed. The trailer also shows some amazing performance by Konkana Sen Sharma who plays the freedom fighters wife and Ranveer Shorey who is seen as the journalist who broke the story in 2011 which instigated his struggle.
Film star-cast Vinay Pathak along with the director Ananth Mahadevan graced the event. Also seen at the event were Vidya Malvade who came in to show her support. The trailer launch was in th hands of our honorable Mayour of Mumbai Snehal Ambekar
When asked Vinay on his character he said, ” I am delighted to be a part of this film. I hope we achieve the vision we started this film for. Hoping you all liked the trailer ”
When asked the national award winning Ananth Mahadevan on his thoughts he was quick to add, “ This is our earnest effort towards a film which is close to our heart. We aim to spread awareness of this legendary man Gour Hari Dasji through our small effort. I am honored that i get to make this film. All geared up for the main launch.”
