MUMBAI: Rising Star Entertainment, headed by Ravi Walia, is on a director-signing spree.
The company has brought on board directors Anees Bazmee, Soham Shah and Sangeeth Sivan for films.
Says Walia, "We are signing a lot of directors, however at present I can only talk about these three directors."
Rising Star Entertainment also has a co-production deal with Sahara One Motion Pictures.
Says Walia, "We are still working out details with Sahara One Motion Pictures and will know shortly."
Bazmee will be directing Sanjay Dutt in a comedy film. All three films with the directors are slated to go on floors this year.
Rising Star Entertainment has two films – De Taali and Allah Ke Bande, up for release this year. Additionally, Fauj Mein Mauj will be re-shot with a new cast, and is directed by Sanjay Chhel. These films will be a co-produced by Sahara One Motion Pictures.
