Rohit Shetty is going to launch Prabhas in Bollywood, not Karan Johar
The release of Baahubali: The Conclusion has led to a radical change in the Indian film industry. The Prabhas starrer movie has not only gained accolades all over the world but also has increased the expectations of the audiences which has led to heightened pressure over the filmmakers.
Some filmmakers have acted smartly and are trying to rope in Prabhas in their upcoming projects. Earlier, there were reports that Karan Johar was going to introduce Prabhas in B-Town. But, as there were no more developments in this matter, all Prabhas fans had lost faith.
Now, there is news that Prabhas will make his Bollywood debut not with Dharma Productions but with some other filmmaker. Recently, the newspaper daily DNA After Hours reported that Rohit Shetty is very keen in casting Prabhas in his next directorial venture alongside Salman Khan. One can only imagine what a blockbuster is on the cards if it stars two of the biggest actors of India. Rohit Shetty is very keen to make it a huge blockbuster and wants to compete against the likes of Baahubali.

Although Rohit Shetty is eager to start shooting the movie as soon as possible, both the stars are busy at the time with their own projects. Prabhas is busy at the time with ‘Saaho’ and is committed to one more movie after that.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan has several movies lined up from ‘Dabangg 3’ to a film with Remo D’Souza and a couple of others. So, even if this movie is set to be made, expecting it before 2019 would be too much to expect.
And also there are reports that if Rohit Shetty manages to bring Prabhas on board, he may have to pay a hefty amount because there are news stating that Prabhas is charging a fee of around Rs. 80 crores. After dedicating five years of his career to the Baahubali franchise, Prabhas wants to make most of it.
