Karan Johar has announced of working on a biopic on Dhyan Chand.
Johar took to Twitter to announce that he has the rights to depict the story of the greatest hockey star Dhyan Chand.

Dhyan Chand happens to be the most successful and remembered Indian field hockey player of all time. The man earned three Olympic gold medals in field of hockey during the period when India used to enshrine and dominate the world of hockey.
We really hope to see Shah Rukh Khan as Dhyan Chand as he was the perfect coach in ‘Chak De India’, especially after knowing the magic the Karan- Shah Rukh jodi makes.
Life of Indian athletes like Paan Singh Tomar, Milkha Singh and Mary Kom have also been brought to the big screen in the form of biopics. Recently a biopic on Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni, titled ‘MS Dhoni – The Untold Story’, was announced.
