Ranbir Kapoor hosted a bash for his film Bombay Velvet which released today; the party was held a night before its release at the actor’s residence.
The party host Ranbir Kapoor personally came down from his residence to receive the guests.
The guest list included Anushka Sharma who plays the character of Rosie in the film opposite Ranbir, Anurag Kashyap the director of the film and Karan Johar who plays the role of an antagonist in the film was also present. Along with the cast of the film, Ranbir’s close friend and director Ayan Mukerji was also present at the event. 2 States heartthrob Arjun Kapoor also graced the film’s celebrations.
The film, which is set in the vintage era of city Mumbai is receiving, mixed response from the audience, however over the weekend the film will surely get its due credit.
Nevertheless the film’s detailing and jazz performances are a treat to eyes and are receiving positive accolades.
The movie made loads of news regarding the chemistry of the two central characters played by Ranbir and Anushka and finally received a UA certificate from the Censor Board. Bombay Velvet is finally at the theater windows for the audience. It will be a surprise to see how much this movie fares at the box-office!
