Watch: Salman Khan Pays Last Tribute To Late Music Composer Aadesh Shrivastava

On Saturday the whole Bollywood industry including Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Sonu Nigam and many others, bid last respects to the late music composer Aadesh Shrivastava.

Bollywood’s most loved singer-composer Aadesh Shrivastava, who was battling cancer died post midnight on Saturday. A day after he turned 49, he took his last breathe at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Bollywood celebrities Anil Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, and director Anees Bazmee attended the last rites at Oshiwara Crematorium, Andheri West.

Also singer Sonu Nigam and his wife Madhurima Nigam, Sudhir Mishra, Shekhar Suman, Pahlaj Nihalani, Babul Supriyo, Raju Shrivastava and Ratan Jain were amongst others who attended to bid last respects.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor Salman Khan who was out of town for the promotions of his production film Hero couldn’t visit to pay the last respects to the music composer Aadesh.

Recently during the music concert of Hero, Salman Khan asked all the videographers to turn off their cameras and asked everyone to take one-minute silence in order to pay tribute to late Aadesh Shrivastava.

Aadesh, who was known for his immense contribution to the music industry, was critical after the third relapse of cancer, a month ago. His fierce fight with the cancer continued in the hospital for almost past 42 days.

Saddened to the core, Aadesh’s wife Vijayata Pandit had also shared earlier that her children’s lives are torn apart. The family was burdened not only with the illness, but the financial pressure. The financial turmoil was hovering around the family, as they had to spend Rs. 12 lakh for every lifesaving injection. He was survived by his wife, Vijeta Pandit and their two sons — Anivesh and Avitesh.

Aadesh Shrivastava has given some memorable melodies in the movies ‘Baghban’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, ‘Chalte Chalte’, ‘Baabul’ and many more. The talented artist is still a favorite of the masses and will always stay.
