Just after Bombay High Court acquitted Salman Khan in 2002 hit and run case, the state government has been studying the verdict that acquitted Salman Khan of all the charges. Just When Salman was celebrating his 50th birthday, in the midst of all, Maharashtra government was planning to approach Supreme Court against Salman Khan’s acquittal.

Well, as media was present at Salman Khan’s birthday bash, taking a chance, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star was asked about his take on the step taken by Maharashtra government. To which Salman Khan gave a very straight forward reply, saying that he is ready to fight.

He said, “It’s a huge burden off my parents’ shoulders. It’s the government’s right to appeal in the Supreme Court. We too will fight it in the Supreme Court.

6 months after the trial court pronounced him guilty on December 10, the Bombay High Court acquitted the 49-year-old star of all the charges in the 2002 hit-and-run case. The court had stated that the prosecution failed to establish any evidence against Salman Khan and that the actor was driving under the influence of alcohol.

Salman Khan was breathing the air of freedom after Bombay High Court announced 2002 hit and run case verdict in the actor’s favour. But, it seems problems for the actor don’t end there.[/tps_footer]
