Why Did The Censor Board Reject Phantom Posters?

phantom-02The first poster of Sajid Nadiadwala’s Phantom is out and is already creating a lot of buzz. The posters which feature Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif wearing blindfold of the Indian flag was earlier rejected by the censor board.

The makers had initially used the proper flag for the posters, but censor did not give a go ahead on the same. They suggested to use a single colour, but the makers were not convinced and thought it would not give the effect they wanted. It was then when they decided to remove the Ashoka chakra from the flag.

Only then was the poster given clearance from the censor board.

The trailer of Phantom has not even come out and the film is already making news for various reasons.
