MUMBAI: The winning team of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chak De! India – Yash Raj Films, director Shimit Amin and writer Jaideep Sahni are coming together yet again for a movie.
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, Sahni said, "I am currently working on the script for Shimit’s movie that is being produced by Yash Raj Films. The scripting is in the final stages and pre-production will begin soon."
However, no information is available on the storyline of the film. The cast of the movie has not yet been finalized.
When contacted by Businessofcinema.com, Yash Raj Films’ spokesperson said, "We will announce Shimit’s film when we are ready to do so."
Amin has a three film contract with Yash Raj Films and this will be his second after Chak De! India, which released in August last year.
Some of the other films that are currently in production at YRF are Kabir Khan directed New York that stars John Abraham and Katrina Kaif and an untitled movie that stars Shahid Kapur and Rani Mukherji. YRF’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi directed by Aditya Chopra with Shah Rukh Khan in the lead is slated to release on 12 December.
