Mumbai: As a part of its promotional campaign for the Saturday 8 p.m. movies’ slot, Shanivaar Ki Raat Sitaron Ke Saath, Zee Cinema had announced a contest wherein viewers had to answer simple questions about Imran Khan. K.J.Somaiya College stood a clear winner with the maximum number of students participating in the contest thereby getting a chance to meet the star.
Zee Cinema business head Mohan Gopinath said, "We are extremely happy with the response received on the contest. Keeping our promise alive, we have taken Khan closer to his fans. Zee Cinema assures to continue entertaining its viewers with many such exciting offerings in the near future."
Impressed by the various entertainment acts put together by the students, Khan was overwhelmed to receive a firsthand account of his fan-following amongst the youth. He said, "I am very thankful to Zee Cinema for letting me be a part of its one of the biggest properties and bringing me closer to my fans. It’s really a cool experience being here today."
