MUMBAI: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan surely did spring a surprise at the recently concluded Cannes Film Festival where she looked much fitter and leaner after losing oodles of weight post pregnancy. While she received immense applause for her style there, the appreciation does not seem to stop.
The actress recently was seen at the Royal Ascot Race in England. Royal Ascot is one of the biggest horse race contests held in England and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been a regular visitor since 2009.
At the 2013 edition, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was seen wearing a monochrome lace dress. The dress looked elegant on Aishwarya and the white-black floral hat added to the royal touch.
In another event, in Malaysia for Longines, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looked stunning in a hot green Anarkali suit with silver work.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the brand ambassador for Longines. The actress was at her Royal best, as she interacted with the media and fans.
The actress certainly seemed to have enjoyed her outing sans hubby Abhishek Bachchan who is in Mumbai.
It just would be great to see her to see her on screen again. It’s been quite a long time after her stint in ‘Guzaarish.’ Let’s all hope that just like these royal appearances at events, her comeback to celluloid is royal as well.
