Awards and Honour: Although awards do not mean a lot to the actor, Rajinikanth has won more accolades than he can count. Endless nominations have led to him winning Filmfare award, six Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, NDTV Awards, Raj Kapoor Award, Vijay Awards among others. In 2010 the actor was named as the most influential person in India by Forbes. In 2000, he was honoured with the Padma Bhushan award by the Indian Government.
