The alleged couple was snapped at the press meet to promote Filmfare Awards 2016. Ranveer and Deepika announced date of the event at a press conference held at The Leela Palace in New Delhi on Saturday December 12, 2015.

Deepika Padukone was snapped in an Archana Rao runway look. Deepika worked a retro look in a vintage printed jacket with a polka dotted shirt and matching pants. A pair of drop earrings, a sleek ponytail and white pumps rounded her look out. It was whole lot of prints but somehow Deepika managed to pull it off. Ranveer Singh was seen wearing a trench coat kind of suit and was holding a stick. Both Deepika and Ranveer have won the ‘Black Lady’ as debutants. They wish to win next year as well.

The most awaited Filmfare Awards will be held on January 15 next year. The 61st Britannia Filmfare Awards will celebrate excellence in Indian cinema and a return to grandeur, with a mixed bag of commercial successes that set new records this year, and critically acclaimed films that received great reviews.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus directorial movie, ‘Bajirao Mastani’.  Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are playing Bajirao’s first and second wives, Mastani and Kashibai, respectively. The movie is slated to release on December 18, 2015 clashing with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’.[/tps_footer]
