MUMBAI: Wedding bells have been ringing in Hema Malini’s household once again. Her younger daughter, Ahana Deol, recently got engaged in a private ceremony at home, to a Delhi-based businessman.
Ahana had incidentally met her fiance, Vaibhav Vora, at her elder sister Esha Deol’s lavish wedding this time last year. Sparks flew, and the couple decided to make their relationship official by entering the sacred bond of holy matrimony.
Present at the intimate gathering was the Deol family: patriarch Dharmendra, mother Hema Malini (elegant as always) in a peach coloured traditional sari, Ahana’s sister Esha Deol (in a pale green net sari) with her husband Bharat Takhtani.
Ahana and her beau Vaibhav were gleefully colour co-ordinated in blue and grey: she in a light blue-grey net sari, he in a crisp steel grey suit.
Hema Malini was overjoyed at the engagement ceremony, where she said: “I am glad that Ahana has found someone as her life partner. It is a joyous moment for all of us.Vaibhav is a very nice boy. Now we are waiting for the right date to finalize the wedding date. Need your good wishes for Ahana and Vaibhav”
