John Abraham Goes From Cinema To Television

The 'Shootout At Wadala' actor John Abraham was spotted at the 6th edition of the Boroplus Gold Awards mingling with many television actors.

MUMBAI: Bollywood actor John Abraham usually sticks to the silver screen. With an appearance recently in director Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Shootout At Wadala’, he has also hit big screen gold. But the hunk was recently spotted mingling with television actors at the sixth edition of the Boroplus Gold Awards for television stars.

John Abraham, who will next be seen in director Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Madras Cafe’, was invited as the chief guest at the awards event. He was the sole Bollywood representative for the evening.

The actor was seen mingling with many of the TV stars. Building a good rapport with them could always come in use. It won’t be long before we see John Abraham on television while promoting his forthcoming film ‘Madras Cafe’.

We still have to see John Abraham hosting a television show like his Bollywood counterparts such as Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan. Will this exposure to the workings of television provide the impetus?

Meanwhile, John Abraham had a busy weekend. Along with this foray into the world of television, the actor also dipped his toes into the world of art when he attended an exhibition by famous artist Krishnamachari Bose.

We have to wait and watch now if John Abraham sticks to his guns on the big screen or ventures ahead into the small screen.
