MUMBAI: Former Miss India and Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla has taken up a stand against the radiation of mobile towers and asked the government to take the necessary steps to prevent any future mishaps.
On a press conference held on Thursday, the actress said that the government has left out or diluted many of the key clauses in the statement submitted by the Brihan Mumbai Mahanagar Palika.
“We have given them a presentation on the key points that have been missed out. The state authorities have heard our concerns and assured us that these would be incorporated in the revised policy,” Chawla said.
We all hope that she is successful in her endeavour and we thank Miss Chawla for taking a stand for the people.
