Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty’s father Virappa Shetty passed away at 1.30 am on Wednesday morning, at the age of 93.
As per media reports, Veerappa Shetty was not keeping well and was rushed to Breach Candy Hospital in south Mumbai. But before any treatment could take place, he passed away. Soon Twitterati offered condolences after the demise of Veerappa Shetty.
Bollywood celebrities have started coming to Veerappa Shetty’s funeral at the Worli Crematorium in Mumbai. B-town stars Sonu Sood, megastar Amitabh Bachchan with son Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Sooraj Pancholi and others have already reached for the final rites.
As some of the family members were out of the country, the funeral took place today. Some of the relatives from the USA have arrived today while Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty has also reached here from London where she was shooting for her upcoming film Mubarakaan.
Veerappa Shetty had suffered a massive paralytic stroke in 2013. Reportedly, within no time Suniel Shetty had set up an entire ICU at his south Mumbai residence for his father. The actor shared a really special bond with his daddy and always addressed his father as his real hero.
