[tps_footer]With the elections happening around the country, many celebrities and Bollywood stars came out to cast their vote, one of which was Kajol who came in with husband actor Ajay Devgn. Kajol was dressed in a casual striped top with blue jeans, and hubby Ajay was dressed in a military green Pathani.
But what was surprising is that Kajol seemed clueless when she was just about to cast her vote. The actress actually asked hubby Ajay what to do. The debonair actor helped his wife out by telling her how to vote.
Bollywood Celebrities like Vidya Balan, Sonam Kapoor were among the early birds who cast their votes. Many of the celebrities posted their voting selfies on Twitter. Not only this, these celebrities have also urged their fans to go and vote. Farhan Akhtar left leave for the IIFA Weekend only after casting his vote.
Bollywood heartthrob John Abraham posted a selfie after voting. He also tweeted, “I cast my Vote. So must every Indian who is eligible. Be responsible”.
Shilpa Shetty too posted a picture of hers after voting. She tweeted, “Hey Tweeto’s Every vote counts. Make yours count too be a responsible Indian.”
Dino Morea was also among the early voters. The actor tweeted, “I just did. Did you??”.
Tamil superstars Kamal Haasan and Rajnikanth also voted early in the morning in Chennai. While Rajnikanth came to vote alone, Kamal Haasan was accompanied by his live in partner, Gauthami.
Rahul Bose who is known for his active stand on social and political issues was also among the early voters in Mumbai. The actor voted at 07:13 AM today and took on twitter and wrote, “And so it is done. 07:13 am. Third voter in the booth. Mumbai, aaple vote tak. Mahatvaca aahe.”
Aamir Khan who has brought a new wave of change in Indian society and mindset with his show Satyamev Jayate also voted. The actor cast his vote in Mumbai today morning.
Sadly many Bollywood celebrities like Anil Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar gave voting a miss as they are away in the US for IIFA Awards.[/tps_footer]
