MUMBAI: The television has always had a fascination towards having Bollywood stars glamorize the sets of the show.
From legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan to superstar Salman Khan, Bollywood has done exceptional business with having the stars hosting television shows to reality serials to quiz contests.
A survey conducted recently, noted the TVT (Television Viewing Per Thousand) ratings to be highest for Kapil Sharma’s comedy show ‘Comedy Nights’ (6804), with Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 7’ (5176) lagging right behind the hilarious stand-up comedian.
The biggest loser in this race, though, seemed to be Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 7’ (4811). Even with all the masala, masti, glamour and spice, Salman Khan’s headlining act hasn’t saved the show.
